Following a recent unannounced visit from the Care Inspectorate to our Outdoor Nursery site in Elgin, we are delighted to share that our nature-based and child–led learning approach has gained significant recognition. The inspection report published very recently. It noted:
Children were being given inspiring opportunities to grow and develop, be adventurous, build their resilience and be active, independent and innovative in their play and learning.
The four quality themes inspected - Care and Support, Environment, Management and Leadership, Staffing – received grades of Very Good or higher, with the Environment theme receiving the highest grade of Excellent.
Stramash’s Holiday Programme provides lots of progressive outdoor opportunities for young people, throughout the holidays. Courses which will allow your child to learn and develop, discover new places, build confidence, have fun, make new friends and be active outdoors!
Building on our past experience, we are delighted to launch our first programme of set training courses for staff working in the early years, primary school and childcare sectors.
